4.0 Tutoring was started in 2006 by three Vail Valley Academy teachers, all graduates of Wesleyan University. Our clients have included Junior Olympic ski-racers, Harvard admits, and the sons and daughters of Vail's community leaders.

- Stay on top of work. Check out our subject tutoring programs. If you are looking for someone who is great at motivating kids of all ages (or you will be soon) keep us in mind. We'll be around, mud season, sun season, and ski season.
- Get help homeschooling. We'll come to your house any day of the week to help ease tensions or teach specific subjects.
- Look into test prep for the fall ACT and SAT. We'll be running intensive courses through December. Give us a call to work out a long-term plan.
- Time to start thinking about college? 4.0 Tutoring offers complete admissions guidance. From essays to financial aid, we'll help you find the right school and get into it!
- And keep an eye on our community events. In addition to volunteering with the Vail Literacy Project, we are working on offering great spaces for students to come to learn, play, and be around other kids. A 4.0 chess club, creative writing workshop, and gaming hour are just some of our ideas. We're also looking into an open tutoring hour for any eager walk-in learners as well as free proctored SAT and ACT exams.
